The
Libertyville Branch Community of Christ is a friendly congregation of
people from all walks of life. Study, worship and opportunity
for service is provided for all ages. We seek to be the body
of Christ, yet, one with diverse gifts, responding to God's love in
today's world with active lives of spirit and service.
Mission Statement:
We will implement our
vision, living as representatives of Jesus Christ, by:
-
recognizing and following the leading of
God's spirit in all we do.
-
discovering, nurturing, and sharing gifts and
talents in activities and worship.
-
continually learning how we can live God's
way in this world through study, participation in creative arts, and
active worship.
-
caring for others through youth and pastoral
care activities.
-
caring for others by reaching out into our
community in a variety of ways.
-
expanding the stewardship of our building and
property so that we can better serve the congregation and community.
